10 Gigs You Can Do to Make Money Online as a Freelancer

Virtual Assistant

Virtual Assistants are freelancers who work remotely and typically offer services such as bookkeeping, data entry, customer service, project management, and so on. They're usually self-employed and can charge whatever they feel is appropriate for their time.
There are many platforms where you can find virtual assistant jobs; one of the most popular is Upwork. You'll need to register with Upwork in order to get access to their job listings. The platform caters mainly to finding freelance work but there are also some full-time positions available if that's what you're looking for. There's no fee required for registering so it's worth checking out what they have available before deciding which site is best suited for your needs.

Data Entry

Data entry can be done from anywhere with an internet connection. This makes it an ideal gig for those looking to work from home or make some extra money on the side. Some of the best sites I've found are Upwork, Fiverr, and PeoplePerHour.
A general rule is that you should look at the hourly rate before making a decision on which site you want to use. The rates will typically range anywhere between $5-$40 an hour and it's important that you feel comfortable with what you're doing for the amount of money being offered. If not, then it's best that you find another gig!

Freelancing has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. Whether you're looking for some extra cash on the side, or a full-time income while you stay at home with your kids, freelancing can be an excellent opportunity. However, it's not always easy to find gigs when you're just starting out. That's why I'm here to share 10 gigs that are perfect for freelancers who want make money online.

Website tester

Freelancers with coding experience are in high demand. There are many sites that allow you to sign up and get paid for testing websites, reviewing, and other various tasks. These sites often have different levels of pay based on your experience level. This is one of the easiest ways for freelancers who don't have their own expertise to make money online.

Proofreader

Proofreading is one of the most popular gigs out there. There are numerous websites out there that offer such services, and they typically pay anywhere from $3-$5 per page. That’s not bad at all! But how do you find these jobs? Simple: just search proofread my document on Google, and voila! Pages of potential work await you.

Researcher

Freelancing is a great way to make money online, but the best way to do it is by leveraging your skills and knowledge. There are countless ways you can freelance, but these 10 gigs offer enough variety that will let you work from home.
1) Fiverr - The gig marketplace where you can sell anything for $5 or less. All of the gigs on Fiverr cost $5, so if you're looking for something quick this might be for you. Offerings range from voiceovers, graphic design, logo designs, writing services, and more.
2) Share Your Expertise - Whether it's photography or website building services or just general advice about some obscure topic, there are likely people who would pay good money to have access to your expertise.

Writing assignments

Whether you are an expert translator or are just starting out in the field, there are many opportunities available to make money online. There is no need for you to invest your time and money in expensive software programs when it is possible for you to translate documents online for fivers. Websites like Translator Hub allow translators of all levels of experience to work on documents that suit their skillset, with projects ranging from translating blogs and articles into foreign languages, subtitling videos, and transcribing audio files. For example, if you want to practice translating English into Spanish, then this website will allow you to do so for a fee starting at $5 per project. The site also offers more complicated assignments that pay up to $50.

Programmer

A web developer is someone who can make websites work using programming languages like HTML and CSS. They are often experts in front-end design and back-end development, and may also be familiar with backend technologies such as Node.js. If you are a programmer looking for gigs to do online, here are the 10 best places for you:
1) Weebly - Design or code websites from scratch, or build on their existing templates
2) Upwork - Find jobs from companies or individuals requiring your skills

If you're not sure how much time you want to invest in this business venture, Fiverr is the answer for getting started with some quick gigs. Many people offer their services on Fiverr for $5 - so it won't cost much money or time if it doesn't work out.
